Although it is common for us to do makeup for weddings and bridal portraits–that’s not the only makeup we know how to do here at Facade.

Corporate headshots or other professional portraits are an increasingly common marketing tool. It’s critical for your business that you are portrayed in the correct manner as these photos become an important visual representation of you to your client on business cards, websites, and other marekting materials. It’s a great way to establish a sense of trust and rapport with potential clients before ever having met them.

THIS, however, is why it’s incredibly important that not only do you have an appropriate, professional look in your photograph–but also that you look like YOURSELF on your best day– not over-the-top or glamorous. It’s crucial that when meeting new clients you don’t look like someone else completely from the photo. But that being said, doing your own makeup as you normally would isn’t always the best idea. The camera lens tends to read light much differently than the human eye. This is why many times when you think you have on “enough” or even “too much” makeup in person, you may look washed out in photos.

We are skilled at accentuating your best features, concealing minor imperfections, and creating a polished yet natural look. Because every last detail is captured in head shots/portraits, makeup applications for this purpose (a “photo face” as we call them) are scheduled for 60 minutes to ensure a flawless application and finish.

A photo face is $100 when scheduled with staff artists Kate or Dayna, and is $125 when scheduled with the owner–Corinne. False lashes, if desired, are $25 extra. We recommend having hair styled or placed in rollers prior to your makeup appointment.

On-Location Bridal & Special Occasion Services

Instead of coming into the shop, occasionally brides prefer us to come to them. Whether it’s in the privacy of their own home, or the comfort of a bridal suite- we can make that happen! It often invokes a feeling of calm, quiet intimacy with her bridesmaids and mother.

Last weekend, bride Robin Ricks, was married at the Houstonian. She and her husband, Aravind, held a Catholic ceremony on Friday and a Hindu ceremony on Saturday.

Senior staff artist, Dayna Leigh, did the makeup for the ceremony on Friday, and was accompanied by senior staff artist, Kate Block, to assist with makeup the following day.

A newly popular trend has been for the videographer to put together a “Same Day Edit” to play during the reception. This video was filmed and put together by T2 Production. Catch Dayna in scenes :19-:31 of the video doing the makeup for the bride! Plus a close-up shot of the brides finished face at :48!

On-location fees for staff artists are $300 (price includes the first face) and $85 for every face thereafter.

On-location fees with Facade owner, Corinne Williams are $500 (including the cost of the first face) and $100 for every face thereafter.

Usually, a minimum of 3 faces is required for each on-location visit.

There are additional charges for travel outside the beltway, bringing an additional artist, and false lashes, if these things are necessary.

Most of our clients come to US to shop for their favorite brands in makeup and skincare and to have their makeup done for special events.

But sometimes, it’s more convenient (or just more FUN!) to have us come to YOU! For a wedding, engagement party, or even just a fun “girls night in”, Facade will travel!

In the photo above, Facade owner Corinne Williams is pictured doing the makeup for Natalie Brown (maiden name Reese) in the Brown’s beautiful home before Natalie’s engagement party.

Corinne also did the makeup of the bride’s soon-to-be mother-in-law, Suzanne Brown (who is a loyal Facade client) and soon-to-be sister-in-law, Sarah Feigelson (former Facade bride, and loyal client).

Corinne and senior staff artists Dayna Leigh and Kate Block will be going on location again to do the makeup for the big day itself– at Hotel Zaza. They are responsible for the looks of the bride, the bride’s family, groom’s family, and all the bride’s attendants, totaling 18 faces in all.
